Facebook Create Digital Rate Campaign to Help SMEs and Communities

Facebook launched the Laju Digital advertising campaign program today. This program aspires to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and areas in Indonesia to make maximum use of digital technology.

"Out of 148 million internet surfers in Indonesia, only 15 percent or 21.45 million in eastern Indonesia," Ruben said on the sidelines of the introduction of the Digital Rate plan, at the Kempinski Indonesia Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (08/14/2018) .

"Through digital technology, we make an effort to better understand and discover a means out of the challenge of system, socio-economic and educational, especially in Eastern Indonesia," Ruben persisted.

Ruben uncovered the Digital Velocity campaign will be there in 15 towns, 10 which are in Eastern Indonesia. Gorontalo is the first city where in fact the Digital Speed plan is held.

Matching to him, the Facebook system isn't only to hook up users with friends, family members and family. Therefore, said Ruben, Facebook desires to encourage people in Indonesia to use benefit of the of this system as a way of increasing competitiveness, especially in the East Indonesia region.

This advertising campaign is the consequence of cooperation between Facebook and the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), Ministry of Education and Culture, as well as the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Businesses.
